utter failure.
SEPTEMBER 22nd, 2002
this journal, that is. at one of my original purposes. when i wasn’t doing much i wasn’t writing, and now that i’m doing tons of stuff i don’t have time to write. but at least the current trend is preferable.
recent stuff:
pizza hut is good. not spectacular, but it’s nice to bring home tips every day and know i’ve got a paycheck every other week. and it is relatively enjoyable, though it can get a bit hectic and stressful at times. at least the people i work with are cool.
nethercraft is now up and running, and all the important people seem to be rather pleased with it. some quirks to work out and some things to be finished still, but the worst is done. i think it is definitely a nice portfolio piece to have.
i have received two mix cds now, from emma and jon. never having gotten a mix cd before, i never realized how telling they are. they both have really distinct personalities. it’s amazing. they’ve got some awesome songs on them too.
i purchased the fine game sam and max hit the road on ebay for my macintosh, and have been rather enjoying it.
oh yes and september 19th was talk like a pirate day. sadly i did not have the opportunity to talk to many people like a pirate, but i did discover i have a pretty respectable pirate voice, and holly and i left each other awesome pirate voice mail.
today i saw this bumper sticker: DO NOT MEDDLE IN THE AFFAIRS OF DRAGONS… FOR YOU ARE CRUNCHY AND GOOD WITH KETCHUP.
but then i told holly about it and she’s like, ‘oh yeah i’ve seen that before’. wtf?? do i just not get out enough?
