About This Log

hi kids. this is my tense log. tense log is this web application i made so that my friends and i could:
- manage various portions of the tense forms web sites through a simple, web-based interface.
- keep track of notes, web links, and other bits of information in an easily organized format.
- keep journals of our daily happenings.
- easily post pictures online.
i must say that it has worked quite well. it has allowed my friends to do things that i do not think they would have the opportunity to do otherwise. and while i could have just installed an existing system, like moveable type, i have also learned a lot from and even rather enjoyed creating this. while it is not the prettiest and perhaps not even the most complex thing i’ve created, it is probably the most useful, and almost certainly the most used.
as for this particular log, well, this is where i put random stuff. for the section named journal, i use the term loosely. in it you will find both things that i care very much about and things that i do not care about at all but felt like writing about anyhow.
in the section i have named pictures, that is exactly what you will find there. mostly they are of holly and i, and mostly there are there so that holly can look at them. however please enjoy them if it pleases you.
in the code section you’ll find random bits of code, tags, and commands that are rather useful, but not quite so much that i use them enough to just remember them. finally, in the wallpaper section i may randomly put up some of the desktop pictures i’ve made now and then.
